Presented in this BLOG are some movie songs composed in the same RAGA, which will help getting an idea of how a raga sounds. It is aimed at providing an introduction to CARNATIC MUSIC.
The song starts with a virutham in Kedhara gowlai. I think it was due to the reason that the same song in the original mahakavi kalidasu had the 'manikka veena' in Kedaragowlai.
Even otherwise KG is widely used in virutams in concerts.
